ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC), Mahendragiri, has announced 22 vacancies for Technical Assistant, Technician 'B', Cook 'A' and Fireman 'A'. Candidates with a 10th pass, ITI or Diploma (post-wise) are eligible. The age limit is 18 to 35 years as on 05 October 2026 (post-wise, with category-wise relaxation). Applications are open online from 15 September 2026 to 24 October 2026 (extended). Selection will be through a Written Test, a Skill Test and Medical (Fireman 'A' only). - 4Pay the fee online through SBI e-Payment: ₹750 for codes 60 to 62, ₹500 for codes 63 to 68, 70 and 71. Bank charges are borne by the candidate. Female, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates get a full refund; all other candidates get ₹500 (codes 60 to 62) or ₹400 (other codes) back, less bank charges, only if they appear in the written test.

- The last date to apply was extended from 05 October 2026 to 24 October 2026 (5 PM), and the fee payment date to 29 October 2026 (5 PM). This is as shown in the remarks on the ISRO website.
- Final selection is by Written Test scores. The Skill Test is qualifying only: 50 out of 100 for Unreserved and 40 out of 100 for reserved categories (Cook 'A': minimum 60 out of 100). For Technical Assistant and Technician 'B', candidates are shortlisted for the Skill Test in the ratio 1:5 (minimum 10 per post). Fireman 'A' candidates are shortlisted 1:50 after the PME norms. Ties are broken by academic scores.
- Fireman 'A' physical standards: height 165 cm (men, general), 160 cm (men, Gorkha/Hill Tribes/SC/ST) and 155 cm (women); weight 50/46/43 kg; BMI 18 to 28; chest 81 cm on expiration (76 cm for the reserved group) with 5 cm expansion; distant vision 6/6 without aids. The Physical Efficiency Test has Stage 1 run (1500 m men; 800 m women and transgender) and Stage 2 rope climbing, human dummy carry, long jump and 100 m run. Qualifying in all events is mandatory and the test is at the candidate's own risk.
- The PME certificate for Fireman 'A' must be from a Government Medical Officer (Allopathy) not below the rank of Assistant Civil Surgeon, and be valid for 6 months. Selected Fireman 'A' candidates stay in Essential Staff Quarters at IPRC.
- The initial posting is at IPRC Mahendragiri, but selected candidates can be posted at any ISRO/DOS centre in India. The posts are temporary but likely to continue indefinitely.
- Travel allowance (2nd class train fare) is paid only for the Skill Test, not for the written test. Serving government, PSU or autonomous body employees must bring an NOC from their employer at the Skill Test.
