Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Seva Chayan Aayog (UPESSC) has announced the Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) 2026 for serving Primary and Upper Primary teachers and about 2,500 contract Special Educators (CWSN). Applications were open online from 05 September 2026 to 04 October 2026 and are now closed. The test is a written OMR-based exam. - 1Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on upessc.up.gov.in if not already registered.
- 2Fill the online application form with your eHRMS code (teachers) or CRR/RCI registration number (CWSN educators) and category details.
- 3Pay the application fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking by 04 October 2026.
- 4Preview carefully — category, sub-category, date of birth and gender cannot be changed after final submission.
- 5Use the correction window (till 08 October 2026) to fix any other errors in the submitted application.
